Vintage Sansui audio gear has the quintessential Japanese mid-century design style and the SR-2050C turntable is a perfect example. The two speed (33/45 rpm) belt drive has a graceful "J" shape tonearm with gimbal bearings, lateral balance weighting, and the oh so cool line suspended bias weight. The headshell holds an Audio Technica cartridge with new diamond stylus.
The table is simple to use as the only automatic feature is an end of play auto stop. The cueing mechanism is very smooth with a slow descent.
The turntable sits in a rich wood base that's in good condition and is capped by a clear acrylic dustcover with a kick stand.
